Dr. Vito Modesto MANGHISI is Associate Professor at the Departement of Mechanics, Mathematics, and Management at the Polytechnic University of Bari. He received his M.S. degree (cum laude) in Computer Engineering on July 2014 from the Polytechnic University Bari and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Management Engineering on January 2019 from the Polytechnic University Bari.
Dr. Manghisi mainly develops his research with respect to innovative technological solutions according to the I4.1 user-centered design paradigm for performance optimization and user well-being.
The research is conducted through the study, development and validation of innovative Mixed Reality (MR) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications also based on the real-time assessment of the operator’s physical and cognitive ergonomic load through the collection and analysis of postural data and physiological signals.
