Michele Fiorentino

1999 Graduated with honours in Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, 2003 Ph.D. in “Advanced Manufacturing Systems,” 2015 Associate Professor at Polytechnic University of Bari in “Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering,” at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Management (DMMM). 2017 Full Professor qualification. He teaches at the MSc in Industrial Design and in Mechanical Engineering. From 2018 to 2021, coordinator of the M.S. degree program in industrial design, now deputy. Member of the Committee for equal opportunities, welfare and against discrimination (CUG) of Politecnico di Bari. DMMM Department Director deputy of Department image &communication. IEEE Senior Member, ADM member, Co-editor of IEEE CG&A journal, Department of Spatial interaction, member of the scientific committee of IEEE ISMAR conference, general chair in 2021 and 2022. Expert in CAD-CAX system, functional and aesthetic modelling, Designer of industrial products and virtual and augmented experiences. Author of more than 100 international scientific papers and one patent.
