Lucilla Dammacco

Ph.D. | Member of VR3 Group

Lucilla Dammacco is a Ph.D. student at the Polytechnic University of Bari. She received her B.S. and M.S. degree both in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, specifically M.S. degree in Smart Industry course on 16.10.2020. She is currently working toward the Industrial Ph.D. degree in Industry 4.0 in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Mechanics, Mathematics & Management, and Masmec S.p.A. Her research is based on industrial digital technologies. In particular, it includes the implementation of Virtual and Augmented Reality in manufacturing lines for performance and maintenance optimization in Industry 4.0. Currently, she is working on developing innovative Digital Twin solutions to support various activities such as design, monitoring, maintenance and management in the manufacturing field.
