The Department carries out advanced research in the most important areas of Mechanical Engineering, Management and Mathematics.

DMMM operates in the international research network by means of inter-multidisciplinary specialization of subjects, integration of research and higher education activities, strategic research partnerships with small - medium - large companies, international cooperation, and by promoting mobility of its researchers and permanence of external researchers from Italian and foreign universities, private and public research institutions.
