The name of the city derives from the greek "monos polis" which means unique and singular.

It hides above ancient walls in its dense labyrinth of houses, churches, monasteries and crypts spread around the port and the beautiful baroque cathedral, guarded by the stunning Castle of Charles V.

The city of 50.000 inhabitants, has a coastline of 14 km long, jagged with over 25 stunning coves and sandy beaches.

How to get there? Easy!

You can find a simple and cheap way to come.Monopoli is very well connected to the airport of Bari with main European capitals and to Bari central station by trains and local buses or motorways and is 35 minutes by car southwards of Bari. Also airport of Brindisi is an option.

Polignano a Mare

Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, is a romantic cozy town stunningly beautiful. Crystal clear waters and cliffs pitted with caves are unique. The fascinating historical centre reveals traces of its Arab, Byzantine, Spanish and Norman past, including the remains of the four watchtowers that once guarded the ancient town. Strolling in the old city center to admire the breathless seascapes and savouring an excellent ice cream is Polignano’s pride and joy. 

How to get there? We take care!

Yes the last day we will be in polignano using a dedicated trasport offered by the organization. Also polignano has a railway to airport if you want to embark direclty after the program.
