Giorgio Fagiolo is full professor of
economics at S. Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa, Italy), where he holds a
tenured position in the Institute of Economics. He holds a bachelor's degree in
mathematical statistics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a Ph.D.
in economics from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy). His main
areas of scientific interest include agent-based computational economics,
complex networks, evolutionary games, industrial dynamics, and economic
methodology (with particular emphasis on the scientific status of agent-based
computational economics; empirical validation of economic models; and their
policy-related implications).
His papers have been published,
