Home

Claudia Barile achieved the Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Magna cum laude) at Politecnico di Bari (Italy) in 2008 and a PhD in Advanced Production Systems at Politecnico di Bari in 2012. In 2017, she received the National Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor (Academic Area 09/A3). In 2009 she was Visiting Research Scholar at the Northern Illinois University (Dekalb, USA). Her main research interests refer to innovative materials, mechanical testing, numerical modeling, optical techniques for stress analysis and residual stresses. She authored 55 publications (1 book, 17 peer-reviewed ISI journal papers, 1 book chapter, 1 invited lecture, 29 international conference papers, 7 national conference papers). She serves as reviewer for 4 ISI journals and is a member of the Editorial Board of 1 internationally reputed conference.
